Audition dates are published as soon as they are confirmed. This will be several months before the play is due to be staged.
For the latest auditions, click on the link for the play you want to audition for below. There you can find additional information about the piece (e.g. proposed rehearsal dates, cast of characters, playing ages, etc.) and details about how you can register your interest in performing.
We warmly welcome members and non-members to audition or to apply to assist backstage. Membership is required if you become part of a cast or backstage team. If you’d like to be involved in a backstage role for a particular production, please email enquiries@chipsteadplayers.org.

Important dates for Brief Encounter prospective cast
The read through and auditions are far earlier than normal, as we will be filming some scenes on location in February & March, so we need all parts cast. Filming dates tba in Feb & March with cast & crew availability.*
Read Through: Friday 31st January 2025 at 7.30pm
Songs & music run through: Wednesday 5th February at 7.30pm
Audition dates: Sunday 9th February at 5pm and Monday 10th February at 7.30pm
Performance Dates: 9th – 12th and 16th – 19th July 2025 **
(across 2 weeks, Wed – Sat plus matinee on 19th)
