GENERAL INFORMATION

The Courtyard Theatre Box Office is physically located at the theatre, and is staffed by volunteers. It is open every Saturday from 10:00am to 12:00pm and during production runs at evening and matinee performances. Following the introduction of an online booking system in October 2010, there will be a number of ways in which you may book tickets for Chipstead Theatre productions: •  By applying and paying online (see below); •  In the case of full members and Supporters, by submitting a priority application form to the Box Office; •  By calling in at the Box Office at the theatre whenever it is open; •  By ringing the Box Office on 01737 555680 on Saturday mornings, or by leaving a message on the answerphone. •  By emailing the Box Office at boxoffice@chipsteadplayers.org. As a rule of thumb, tickets for a particular production go on sale to the public on the Saturday immediately prior to the preceding show (i.e. 6-7 weeks before the show) – but see below for details of the Supporters’ priority booking system).

PRICES

Current ticket prices for the various performances are normally as follows: • Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday evening £8.00 each • Saturday matinee £8.00 each • Thursday, Friday & Saturday evening £10.00 each However, please note that special prices may be charged for shows with very high production costs, such as musicals.

BOOKING ONLINE

You now have the option of booking and paying for tickets online through the TicketSource website, as well as booking through the box office in the usual way.

Clicking on the Buy Tickets icon(s) on the right takes you straight to the TicketSource web page for the relevant show, where full details will be given on on how to book tickets. The system shows you which seats are still available for each performance and allows you to select those you wish to book. Please note that ALL online bookings must be paid for by debit or credit card. There is no additional charge for booking tickets online. To ensure that members and Supporters of the Chipstead Players retain their current priority booking benefits, access to the TicketSource booking system will be protected by a password. Each show will have its own password, which will be revealed on the ticket application form sent to members and Supporters; it will only be removed once tickets go on sale to the general public. Should you find it necessary to cancel or change your bookings, you should contact the box office who will endeavour to assist. All tickets for Chipstead Players’ productions are non-refundable, but if the box office is able to resell returned tickets you will be issued with a credit note, after the run is completed, for use at future productions. Now that the Chipstead Players use an online ticket booking system, seat availability for a particular performance can be checked by clicking on the "Buy Tickets" icon above.

SUPPORTERS OF THE COURTYARD THEATRE

By becoming a Supporter you will receive advance information of events at The Courtyard, and benefit from priority ticket applications some two weeks before tickets go on sale to the public.
